Senior Project Manager – North Carolina

Overview

InfraRec is working with a contractor generating $750 million in annual revenue, with over 1,000 employees. They are looking to add a Senior Project Manager to their team, based in North Carolina, with a scope covering infrastructure and bridge construction.

Responsibilities

Manage infrastructure and bridge construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
Oversee project scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning across multiple active projects
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, including public agency representatives
Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and field teams to keep projects on schedule and within budget
Review and manage subcontractor and vendor contracts, change orders, and RFIs
Track project costs and report on budget performance to senior leadership
Ensure compliance with safety standards, permitting requirements, and contract specifications
Support business development and client relationship building for future project pursuits

Qualifications

Extensive experience managing infrastructure or bridge construction projects
Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and contract management
Experience working with public agencies or DOT clients is a plus
Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects and stakeholders simultaneously
Comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred, or equivalent field experience

Day-to-Day

The role is based in North Carolina, with time split between the office and active job sites. Expect daily coordination with project teams and field staff, ongoing communication with clients and stakeholders, and consistent tracking of budgets, schedules, and documentation across multiple projects. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires staying closely involved in the details of each active project.
