Superintendent

Overview

InfraRec is seeking a Civil Superintendent for a leading contractor in Northern Ohio. This role focuses on underground utilities, sitework, and paving. The position offers compensation of up to $145,000.

Responsibilities

• Supervise civil construction activities across underground utilities, sitework, and paving projects
• Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials
• Review project plans, specifications, and schedules
• Monitor daily production and ensure work is completed according to project requirements
• Maintain jobsite safety standards and enforce company policies
• Coordinate with project management, inspectors, subcontractors, and other field personnel
• Track progress and communicate project updates to management
• Identify and address field issues, delays, and quality concerns
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with applicable specifications and regulations

Qualifications

• Experience as a Civil Superintendent or similar field leadership role
• Strong background in underground utilities, sitework, and paving
• Experience supervising crews and subcontractors on civil construction projects
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Knowledge of construction methods, equipment, materials, and site safety requirements
• Strong communication and field coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in an active construction environment
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as required

Day-to-Day

• Direct field operations and coordinate crews throughout the workday
• Review plans, schedules, and upcoming work activities
• Coordinate equipment, materials, deliveries, and subcontractor activities
• Monitor production, quality, and jobsite safety
• Resolve field issues and adjust work activities as needed
• Communicate with project managers and other stakeholders regarding progress and issues
• Complete daily reports and track project activities
